DEPOSITS

We are always accepting deposits for our future puppies! Deposits are $300 and will go towards the final purchase price of your puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to any future litter. While we cannot guarantee we will have the specific gender or coat color of your choice from your desired litter, we CAN guarantee that you will get a healthy and happy new family member! We try our very best to make an educated guess about what puppies we will be expecting, but Mother Nature ultimately decides what we get and when! You are more than welcome to skip any available litter and wait for the perfect puppy. We place everyone on our list in order of deposits received; in the event a litter is not produced like we had hoped for, there aren't enough puppies out of your preferred litter, or one doesn't meet your criteria, then your deposit will go towards our next available litter. By placing your deposit with us, we assume you agree to these terms. Once you are certain you want a puppy from us, please fill out a PUPPY APPLICATION; this document will let us know that you would like to be placed on our waiting list.

The following payment methods are accepted for deposits:

Venmo: Venmo is easy to set up and is the quickest way to get your deposit to us!

PayPal: Please select "Pay for Goods or Services" & make your payment.

Square: Square is an easy-to-use credit card processing system that is totally secure.

Personal Check: Checks are accepted for the deposit only and should be sent by certified mail to guarantee a spot on the Priority Waitlist.

WAITING LIST

How it works: If you would like to be placed on our PRIORITY waiting list, a deposit will reserve your spot in line. It is never too early to get on our list! The sooner you do the better chance you have of getting the puppy you want.  Please check out our UPCOMING LITTERS & NURSERY pages for information on our current and future litters. We have a private FB group for Quivira Golden Lovers where all of our families are able to join and post pictures of their Quivira Goldens. Our wait list order will be determined after each female whelps.  Order of selection is based on the order reserves are placed. Your position for selection will be made available to you once you have completed your non-refundable deposit agreement form (provided upon request) and your reserve has been received. We will then contact you individually when we have puppies available that match your specific criteria as specified on your puppy application.

PUPPY PICK-OUT

If you are on one of our waiting lists, we will notify you when a litter is born and will contact you individually when we have puppies available that match your criteria. Keep in mind that puppy placement is based on the order a deposit is received. We encourage you to subscribe to our website as we will make an email announcement about new litters on our website and also on our Facebook page. Once the litter has reached 3-6 weeks of age and are thriving, we will go down our list and start offering puppies to individuals in order based on the order deposits are received. We will provide regular photo updates as the puppies grow prior to choosing as well as up until they leave so that you can continue to watch your puppy mature. If you are set on a specific color and/or gender we will only offer you puppies that meet this criteria. If you aren't particular on color, gender, etc. you will likely have more options to choose from and have the opportunity to get your puppy sooner.

VISITING PUPPIES BEFOREHAND

Visitors are welcome on "puppy party" days where wait list families can come to visit their puppy after they have had their first set of vaccines. If a puppy becomes available after the set pick out day arrangements for visitations can be made (only for those on our waiting list). We ask that you respect the health of our puppies at all times. So before visiting, please avoid going to pet stores, animal shelters, dog parks, or any other high traffic areas where other animals frequent. We ask that you remove shoes and sanitize your hands before interacting with the puppies to avoid the spread of disease like the common, but lethal Canine Parvovirus. We also request that you leave all other pets at home when coming to visit and/or pick up your new puppy. Our dogs are our family and our litters are all started in our home. Because of this we do not have business hours for people to stop by and play with our puppies nor do we allow visits from anyone who is not on our priority waiting list and in line to choose their puppy on scheduled visitation days.

FINAL PAYMENTS

For families on our waiting lists, final payment on your chosen puppy is due 10 days before your litter's pick-up date. If for any reason we haven't received the final payment by this time, your chosen puppy and spot in line will be lost. Your puppy will be considered yours once your Deposit and Final Payment are received. If you need delivery, all shipping fees will be due along with the remaining balance of your puppy. Final payments can be made via Venmo, Square, Paypal, or cash.

REFUNDS

Reserves are nonrefundable. Please only place a reserve if you are certain you will be ready for a new puppy in the next 12 months! After the puppy has left our care, the new family has 3 days to take the puppy in to see a vet for a physical examination. If the puppy is found to be in ill health with any life threatening disease, the cause of which we as breeders were to blame, only then can the puppy be returned for a full refund. The details of our 2 year health guarantee are available to you prior to the puppy going home.

DELIVERY

HAND-DELIVERY: We can hand-deliver your puppy to an airport near you! Your puppy will fly as carry-on with our "flight nanny" in the comfort and protection of the airplane cabin. Hand-delivery to the continental US starts at $500 (depending on location). This will include your puppy's health certificate, soft crate, flight, and transportation to the airport. We can also hand-deliver to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and other countries outside of the continental US, but prices vary by location.

PUPPY PICK-UP: You are welcome to fly in and take your puppy home as a carry-on. We can meet you at the MCI international airport at no additional cost. Local families and those who wish to drive to pick up their puppy are welcome on scheduled puppy pick-up dates!

TRANSPORT: A puppy escort is always an option and involves us meeting with an escort, handing your puppy to them with proper paperwork and sending your puppy via ground transportation.  This a a great option for families that are not able to or are uncomfortable with other means of transport.

HEALTH GUARANTEE

We stand behind each puppy we sell, and each one will come with a 2-Year Written Health Guarantee! We guarantee your puppies to be free from any life threatening, congenital defect or we will replace your puppy free of charge. Please review the written guidelines and requirements prior to delivery. Remember specific guidelines must be met in order to qualify for our guarantee including but not limited to a puppy wellness check within the first 3 days of arrival of your new puppy. All of our puppies are given a shot of NeoPar as well as one 5-Way PLUS Corona Virus.  We follow a parasite control routine that includes Fenbendazole starting at approximately week four and continuing  every two weeks until puppies head to their new homes.  We STRONGLY encourage each family to establish a solid relationship with a veterinarian they are comfortable with and ask that you adhere to their guidelines for follow-up shots and a monthly wormer.

DEWCLAW REMOVAL

There are two types of dewclaws- attached dewclaws and detached dewclaws. When done at day 2 or 3 attached dewclaws have not developed the bone connecting the claw to their "wrist" and the pain level is much lower. Consequently we are currently removing the attached dewclaws to avoid our adult dogs from injuring themselves and their families with accidental scratching. Detached dewclaws do not have a bone connecting to their wrist, are floppy, and otherwise useless. Both attached and detached dewclaws that we feel will be a nuisance as a dog matures will be removed.

BOARDING

We make every attempt to be as accommodating as possible, and will keep your puppy for a period beyond the normal pick up date if the need arises. There is a $100/week boarding fee for every week after the puppies are available to be picked up or shipped, starting on the first day. This covers the cost of food, training, and boarding. We will board your puppy for up to 2 weeks past the pickup or shipping date without any charge.

RETURNS

Occasionally life happens and there may be circumstances that change or a puppy does not work out in his or her new home for various reasons. In these or other similar situations we are more than happy to take the puppy or adult dog back until a new home can be found. Returning the dog to us is at the owner's expense and no refund will be offered past the 3 day mark after the puppy has gone to his new home.

BREEDING RIGHTS

Each puppy will be sold on a spay/neuter contract basis. Breeding rights are available to small, approved breeders only after conversations and commitments have been put into place via a breeding contract. Please contact us about breeding right pricing prior to placing a deposit.
